Scott Knight (piano, guitar, theory)
Starting piano at the age of six, Scott has now been playing piano for more than 36yrs and teaching for 21yrs. Scott has extensive education in the world of music; he holds a music diploma from Capilano College, a Bachelor of Music from the University of Victoria, followed by Masters level studies in Collaborative Piano from the University of British Columbia. He also spent two seasons studying Piano, Vocal Coaching and Conducting at the N.U.O.V.A. school for Advanced Studies in Opera at the University of Alberta where he worked with Nico Castel (the world's leading language coach), Michael McMahon, Carol Isaac, and Tracey Dahl. He has also studied Conducting and Musical Direction at Tapestry New Opera in Toronto.
Scott has enjoyed a varied career in the fields of Opera and Musical Theatre. He has worked with UBC Opera, Vancouver Academy Opera, Burnaby Lyric Opera and has spent two years as Pianist and Music Director for Vancouver Opera's Touring Ensemble where he played more than 250 performances of Rossini's 'The Barber of Seville' and 'La Cenerentola'. A few of Scott's other favorite opera credits include 'The Marriage of Figaro', 'La Boheme', 'Suor Angelica', and 'Carmen'.Starting in Victoria during his University days, Scott began playing Musical Theatre for local high schools. This soon led to a 5 year stay at the Courtenay Youth Music Centre as Pianist and Co-Musical Director where he worked on 'Guys and Dolls', 'Fame' and 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying'. Upon returning to Vancouver, Scott spent two years as Music Director for the Capilano College Theatre Society, one year teaching Musical Theatre at the Gateway Theatre Academy and 3 years at Arts Umbrella. Scott has worked for many theatre companies in the lower mainland including The Vancouver Playhouse, Royal City Musical Theatre, T.U.T.S., Firehall Theatre and the Metro Theatre to name a few. In 2003, Scott was nominated for a Jessie Richardson award for Best Musical Direction for his outstanding achievement on Skycorner's production of 'Falsettos', then nominated again in 2008 for his work on Patrick Street's 'Into the Woods'. Scott is a co-founder of Quintessence Musical Theatre Project, a professional company that produced 'Assassins' and 'The Fantasticks' - both listed on The Vancouver Sun's top ten Musicals of the year. Scott has also had the privilege of having an extensive recital and freelance career. He has toured with the Canadian Tenors, Romanza and was a regular guest with the Vancouver Island Symphony Orchestra. Scott was last seen as guest conductor for 'Thoroughly Modern Millie' in the 2009 season at T.U.T.S. and as pianist for 'Anything Goes' in 2011.

Dan Zbytovsky (guitar, composition)
Dan has been playing guitar since the age of 14 when his father introduced him to the instrument. His passion and devotion for the guitar and music developed through his high school years which inspired him to continue his studies at University. Dan attended Vancouver Community College as a Classical Composition major with a minor in Piano as well as Capilano University as a Classical Guitar major. He has since been very active in the world of music as a guitarist, composer, arranger and recording artist. Dan is currently involved with 3 performing groups; two rock bands and a classical guitar duo. Dan is also working on his own book of classical piano music arranged for guitar.
